From I-71: Merge onto I-64 west. Follow 9th Street exit. Continue straight up 9th St. to Broadway, turn left. Follow Broadway to Fifth Street, turn left. Parking is on the right hand side. (Fifth Street PARC)

There is The Brown Hotel parking garage and the Fifth St. garage and after hours parking on the streets.

Public Transportation
There are taxis and TARC available.

Fourth Street Trolleys circulate around the downtown area and make frequent stops by the theater.

Box Office Hours

The Box Office is located to the immediate right of the theater entrance.
The box office is open Mondays and Tuesdays from 12PM to 5PM and Fridays from 12PM-5:30PM as well as 2 hours prior to Palace shows.


Types of Payment Accepted

The Box Office accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express,Discover and cash.

Will Call

Tickets can be picked up at the Will Call Window one hour prior to scheduled show time. Customers must have a picture ID, the actual credit card and the confirmation number.

General Rules

No cameras/flash photography, audio or video recording is permitted without venue approval. Cell phones can be used for pictures, at the artist discretion. There is no re-entry into the venue and there is no smoking allowed inside.





Children Rules

All children regardless of age must have a ticket unless otherwise specified by the shows promoter.

Louisville Palace Theater was originally opened in 1928 and designed by architect John Eberson. This historic landmark with Spanish-Moorish interior of arcades, sculpture, balconies, turrets and a make-believe midnight sky on the ceiling makes every event a night to remember.
