The Chainsmokers is comprised of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, two New York-based DJs and producers who began creating tracks together after graduating from college. They followed up in 2013 with "The Rookie", another floor-anthem that continued to build their reputation in dance circles. Their breakthrough success came in 2014 with the release of "#Selfie", a viral sensation that burned up charts around the world and garnered nearly 200 million YouTube views with its hilarious music video.
